AHR features it own line of
proprietary cartridges for use on any game from varmints to Cape
Buffalo. The Howell line of cartridges offer near magnum performance
in a standard length action. These cases were built on a 30-06 case
head dimension but that’s where the similarity ends. The case body
was lengthened, the web and case walls thickened, and the shoulder
angle was set at 25 degrees. These cases are all head-stamped
according to caliber. See

existing rifle will bring you a quick and inexpensive increase in
performance. We also offer Howell Basic cases for that wildcat you
are building. For
dangerous game we offer four of our own proprietary cartridges plus
all of the standard calibers from 375 H&H to our newest creation,
the 700 AHR. All of the AHR dangerous game brass is made to exacting
tolerances and is head-stamped accordingly.
